I see through your lies,
Your despicable words.
The truth is not what you speak.

The false pictures you paint,
Bring tears to my eyes,
But these are not tears of joy.

I shall not sit idle
Behind this curtain of lies
While the world sits and stares.

I shall write instead.
And keep writing with passion,
Until the world ceases to stare.

With their hollow eyes,
They pick me apart
And strip away my pride.

Yet here I shall remain
Behind this curtain of tears,
To forever sit,
and stare.
